Welcome to E.Lab (Engineered Life Lab).

Applicable to all programmes, services and free resources offered by E.Lab, including the Life Lab Leadership & Digital Programme.

1. About Engineered Life Lab

These Terms & Conditions apply to all activities, programmes, resources, and digital services delivered by Engineered Life Lab (E.Lab), including the Life Lab Leadership & Digital Programme.

2. Programme Participation

If you join a free E.Lab programme (including the Life Lab Leadership & Digital Programme), you agree to:

2.1 Commitment

• Participate fully in the sessions and activities for the duration of the 8-week programme.
• Communicate if you are unable to attend a session.
• Complete tasks or assignments required for leadership growth and digital development.

2.2 Providing Required Content

• To enable E.Lab to create your digital assets, you agree to submit:
• Your business details
• Media and documents (photos, videos, written content)
• Branding preferences
• Any verification items needed for setting up digital tools

3. Digital Assets, Domain & Hosting

3.1 Creation of Digital Tools

During the programme, E.Lab may assist with or create:

• A basic business website
• Brand identity elements
• Social media setup
• Google Business Profile
• Other digital uplift tools

These assets are created for your use and ownership.

3.2 Domain & Hosting Support

E.Lab will sponsor one month of domain registration and hosting.

After the first month, you are responsible for:

• Renewing your domain
• Paying for hosting
• Any future maintenance or digital updates
• If renewals are not completed, the website or domain may expire.

3.3 Work After the Programme

Any additional digital work you request after the 8-week programme will be offered at standard service rates.
This includes:

• Website changes or upgrades
• Branding adjustments
• Additional pages
• Ongoing support or management
• Updates or maintenance

4. Free Courses & Resources

E.Lab provides free access to personal development and business development lessons as part of the programme.

By using these courses, you agree to the following:

• You may access the lessons for the duration of your programme.
• Content is provided for educational purposes only.
• E.Lab may update, remove, or improve course material at any time.
• Since access is free, no refunds, exchanges or guarantees apply to course content or its outcomes.

5. Data, Privacy & POPIA Compliance

5.1 Confidentiality

All information shared with E.Lab is treated as confidential and used only for programme participation and support.

5.2 POPIA Compliance

E.Lab complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
We collect and store only the information necessary for:

• Programme delivery
• Communication
• Digital asset creation
• Progress tracking

5.3 Consent for ESD Reporting

You agree that anonymised or non-sensitive business information may be used for:

• Enterprise & Supplier Development (ESD) reporting
• Impact reporting
• Programme improvement
• Sensitive or personal data will never be shared without your explicit consent.

6. Documentation & Progress Tracking

You agree that E.Lab may:

• Document your progress
• Keep notes or records of sessions
• Collect feedback or testimonials (only shared publicly with your consent)

7. Conduct & Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

• Engage respectfully with facilitators and peers
• Act in a professional and ethical manner
• Participate honestly in all programme activities
• E.Lab reserves the right to discontinue participation for misconduct or repeated non-attendance.

8. Disclaimer

E.Lab provides tools, guidance, and support to enable leadership, clarity, and digital empowerment.
However:

• Business results depend on your own effort and application.
• E.Lab is not responsible for business performance, sales outcomes, or external circumstances.

9. Media Consent

By joining the E.Lab programme, you give Engineered Life Lab permission to capture and use photos, videos, audio, screenshots, and any media you share with us for programme documentation, social media, marketing, and ESD reporting. We will always use this content respectfully and professionally, and will never share sensitive or confidential information without your approval. If you prefer not to appear in photos or recordings, you may inform us at any time, and this will not affect your participation in the programme.

10. Acceptance

By registering for a programme or using E.Lab resources, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
